Meet the Team

David Ralley – Davies, aka - (young David)

The founder of Ralleys in early 2007. He qualified in 1999 and has a background in commercial and agricultural property related matters. David, along with taking a managerial role within the Partnership, also shares the commercial Property work load with David Young. David also deals with all equestrian related enquiries, regularly attending update seminars in this expanding area of law.

Davids tips on obtaining a pay rise: “try harder or ask Janice”.

He lives in Newport Pagnell and is a member of the local Business Association network. He takes an active part in trying to keep local businesses in the High Street. David is married, plays polo, shoots, enjoys skiing, horse riding, sailing and Ball Room dancing.

Janice Gabbott

Janice joined David as a partner in 2008 and heads up the Residential Property Department. She qualified in 1996 and was previously a Director in a National Residential Conveyancing firm. She now lives near Leighton Buzzard after having spent many years in London.

Janice enjoys spending her spare time with her 5 Jack Russell Terriers and long walks in the countryside. She is also plays an important role within the Jack Russell terrier association of the UK. Janice enjoys Salsa dancing and yoga in her spare time

David Young, aka (the other David)

David joined the partnership in 2009, he heads up the Commercial Property Department, he qualified as a Solicitor, many, many years ago! He lives in Ampthill and travels to work on his Honda Deville except in the winter when he shows his age and comes by car. David takes an active role in the Flitwick Vale Rotary Club and is presently club Secretary.

David says he doesn’t have any spare time but if he did he would spend it in the garden.

Avril Brennan

Avril qualified in 2008 and now handles the Family case load of files along with any Civil Litigation matters. She enjoys travelling and has worked in Australia and South Africa. Other countries she has visited include the Seychelles, Mauritius, Egypt and most of Europe. Her hobbies include cross training, body vive and salsa dancing. Avril wishes to specialise in Family Law and has recently written an article on the legality of prenuptial agreements.

Susan Lowe

Susan deals with all Probate related matters and Wills. She is based in locally and regularly attends the office as and when required to see Clients.

Roger Trudgill

Roger is Reio’s own in house Chartered Surveyor, he deals with all commercial valuations and commercial agency work.

Christine Taylor

Christine has been working with ‘young David’ for two years now, she is in charge on a day to day basis of the general office management. She works closely with David to ensure he is kept in order! Christine is married and lives locally and with her husband and four wonderful children. She enjoys football and sadly supports Tottenham football club. Her passion is karaoke signing, fortunately not in the office!

She regularly attends with her boys who play football for the local Newport Pagnell and Willen teams.

Heather Keeler

The accounts keeper! Heather controls everything to do with the firm on a financial basis, including the Lottery money!. She is married with two children and lives in Old Stratford. Her hobbies include attending a local boot camp with Janice and keeping herself fit.

Sophie Goodman Wilson

Sophie works part time and assists Janice in the Residential Property department dealing with file administration and registrations. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding residential conveyancing and often assists Janice in dealing with her workload.

Sophie is married and lives locally with her two children, she has been in Newport for a number of years.

Jess

Jess joined the practice as our receptionist / office administrator. She handles all calls and is known for her lovely cup cakes. In her words, she is loyal by nature, keen to make the world a better place and keep an open mind, be positive, courteous and considerate, very pragmatic; loves communicating and debating lots of different topics. A good team player, never give up! is her motto. A useful one to have here!
